The Reader

I applied for a couple of jobs yesterday (Tuesday) so was happy to use the rest of the day to sit in the sun reading. However, I bumped into a couple of friends and had coffee with them. I then realised it was too cold to sit outside so I came home and should have written this.

I managed to fit in playing football last night with watching the Liverpool v Arsenal game immediately afterwards. I scored a scorcher. The Premier League game was goal filled but only due to shambolic defending and effectively ends Liverpool's title challenge. I cycled home afterwards and was starving so popped out to get take away. I could see a friend in the pub across the road so I went there instead and had a couple of pints. Didn't satiate my hunger but I enjoyed the drinks. Wore me out quite a bit.

Felt fine this morning once I'd had a coffee. Had (another) leisurely day. Got lunch with a friend, wandered round before coming back here. Went shopping and it wasn't long before I made dinner, in between adding videos to Facebook. Made up for the lack of reading with a session this evening, so making good strides with my current book. Hope to finish it soon.
