Premiership Predictions

Saturday, 28 February 2009
Arsenal v Fulham, 15:00
Fabregas conceded this week that Arsenal can't win the title, substantiating what most other people think. They're capable of beating Fulham. Arshavin might start to show his influence.

2-1

Chelsea v Wigan, 15:00
Wigan haven't scored more than one goal in game since Boxing Day. Chelsea have the vitality that comes with a newly appointed manager. It's at this stage of the season that teams like Wigan, who are in a string position in the league, can start to lose their way and cede victory to better sides.
1-0

Everton v West Brom, 12:45
West Brom have lost more than twice as many games as Everton this season. Expect that trend to continue.
2-0

Middlesbrough v Liverpool, 15:00
Liverpool seem to be watching Man United ride off into the sunset clutching the Premiership trophy. Liverpool's biggest problem has been beating teams who want to win. With middle in the relegation they will have to be cautious but desperately need three points which might just play into Liverpool's hands, who could be feeling more secure with the knowledge of Rick Parry's imminent departure.
1-2

Sunday, 1 March 2009
Aston Villa v Stoke, 15:00

Villa to continue their charge, brushing aside a lacklustre Stoke.
3-0

Bolton v Newcastle, 13:00
With only 2 points between the sides there's little to distinguish this match.
2-2

Hull v Blackburn, 12:30
Hull aren't the side they were earlier in the season but Big Sam hasn't brought immediate success to Blackburn. Two old friends up against each other. Draw.
0-0

West Ham v Man City, 12:30
The Hammers take on an unpredictable Man City. City looked good, especially on the counter attack against Liverpool.
2-1
